Local Fun – After the stores are closed

Did you know there are lots of fun things to do in the area, after the stores are closed?”

Here are a few of our favorite things:

Music, music, music! Many of the businesses in the area offer LIVE MUSIC after hours. You can find more information on schedules on the event pages and websites for Fireside Winery, Millstream Brau Haus, Millstream Brewery, and the Electric Thread.

If you have a flair for the dramatic, check out the performance schedule for The Amana Performing Arts Center. Monthly events are listed at the Amana RV Park and Events Center, the Amana Colonies Events Calendar, and TKM Theatrical Productions Facebook Events Page.

If you have a hankering for a fancy cocktail, check out the Indigo Room and The Ox Yoke.

If you are looking for some serenity, try a nice (summertime) evening stroll around the Lily Lake on the Kolonieweg (Colony Way) Trail.

If you are looking for something the whole family can enjoy, try the Lucky 6 Lanes Bowling Alley and Restaurant in Marengo. They offer a variety of leagues and open bowling opportunities for all ages, so there is always something going on at Lucky 6 Lanes. The restaurant offers a variety of menu items, including burgers, pizza, salads, and more.
