Weekends Required (Friday – Tuesday)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Provide excellent customer service while assisting with wine sampling, selection and purchasing
• Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests
• Oversee daily operations, including providing wine suggestions and tastings
• Strong understanding of POS from both the customer facing side and back office
• Manage physical retail and tasting room supplies inventory
• Work closely with Events and Social Media Manager to create new drink and events offerings
• Lead part-time staff regarding customer service, cleaning and inventory tasks
• Ensure winery sanitation and cleanliness standards are being complied with inside and outside of the Tasting Room
• Maintain a good working relationship with all staff
• Enforce responsible alcohol service

JOB REQUIREMENTS

– Excellent communication skills
– Strong organizational skills
– Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

– Available to work weekends and some holidays
– Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and stand 6-8 hours per day
– Must be 21+ years of age to apply
– Solid computer skills including knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and familiar with Canva
– Upon Hiring, will be required to obtain the following certificates: Iowa IPACT Alcohol Service and Serve Safe Food Handling
